Congratulations to all members who showed at the Iowa State Fair this year!

We ended the market swine show both Oscar Potter and Jenna Achenbach in the final drive!

Here is the updated barn stalling map for the FFA Swine Show. It is different than the one posted yesterday. A reminder that the barn is stalled based on entries, with 2 entries/pen (per the Premium Book). If you are concerned about having 2 pigs in a pen, please bring a pen divider.

Again, if you have any questions or concerns, please have your FFA Advisor contact a member of the FFA Swine Show Committee.

Congratulations to all of our members who showed at Dallas and Boone county fairs over the past two weeks!

Dallas County Fair results:

Brooklynn Thompson - 1st place All Other Breeds breeding heifer
Taylor Noah - 1st & 2 heavyweight class lambs, champion heavyweight lamb, champion market lamb, 4th county raised
Holden Heard - 1st in class duroc market barrow, 3rd in class crossbred breeding gilt, 2nd in class crossbred breeding gilt

Boone County Fair results:

Jenna Achenbach - 1st and 2nd class 1 commmercial breeding gilt, reserve commercial breeding gilt, Reserve breeding gilt, Aob 1st market, champion purebred market champion market gilt, overall champion market hog

Fair Entry is due tonight! This is for all livestock and static exhibits. All your exhibits MUST be entered in to fair entry by midnight tonight, June 22nd!

*Clover kids need to only enter in their livestock exhibits into Fair Entry. Static exhibits are entered through a form sent to your email!*

Sat. April 27th. 8am-11am. SHEEP AND GOAT WEIGH IN
We will be using the same process as last year. Enter through the south driveway to the fairgrounds and head towards the large livestock barn. Line will start near the large livestock building. Please see the map for better directions. The X on the map is where you will unload to weigh and tag animals.
