Here is a couple of great scholarships for students who are going into the education field. Both are due to the counselors office by March 8th.

* Ann Wade Strength in Education Scholarship: March 8 2024
A one-time $2,000 ($1,000 per academic semester) scholarship to a student who plans to pursue a certified degree in education or in an occupation that directly supports the educational system and meets the following criteria:
Graduating high school senior
A resident of the state of Oklahoma
Pursuing a certified degree in education or directly supporting the educational system
Letter of recommendation
Letter of application

Reminder that tonight is FASFA night at the High School. 4:00PM-6:00PM
TODAY is also the deadline for Senior Breakfast slide show pictures to be submitted. Mr. Province will be available tonight for you to submit your pictures.

NWOSU Ranger Preview is this Saturday. Earn a $600 scholarship just for attending. Check out the link for more information.

After attending Ranger Preview, high school seniors who are admitted to Northwestern as full-time students and attend classes at the Alva campus will receive the $600 scholarship.

We will have photo make up sessions for those who were absent or unable to make it today on October 18th from 9:30-11:30 in the Auditorium.

10/3- Senior Meeting with Jostens during Encore to talk about cap and gowns. (Seniors will order cap and gowns in Government class on 10/12)
10/4- College Day at High Plains from 9:00-10:30. If you have not registered please log into your Senior Google Classroom and find the registration QR code.
10/4 Senior Yearbook pictures in the auditorium. Stop into the auditorium when you return from the college fair.

We are taking Sr Yearbook photos this year and are keeping on theme with our book by doing “Traditional” Tuxes and Drapes. James Photography will take our photos and we will have a “crew” to be there and help them costume as well. We will be taking the photos October 4th after Sr’s return from High Plains. I appreciate your help and support on this as it is a change from what has been done in the past! I hope your kids will enjoy this and have fun with it as I think once we see them in the books they will be fun as well! By doing this it also allows us to get our Yearbooks to press sooner! Which allows us to have a Sr Signing Party to be announced at a later date this Spring! If you haven’t ordered yours I’ve attached a link below to do so!
