Martin Luther King Career & Technology Complex is proud to welcome Mr. Ke’Andre Hayes to the MLK Family as our new Business Marketing & Finance Instructor!

Mr. Hayes’ story is truly a full-circle moment. A 2019 graduate of Wilkinson County High School, he was once a student at MLK, where he successfully completed the Business Marketing & Finance program—the very program he will now lead as an instructor!

After graduating from WCHS, Mr. Hayes continued his education at Alcorn State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business. Now, he has returned home to inspire, educate, and prepare the next generation of Wildcats for success.

From MLK student ➡️ college graduate ➡️ MLK instructor—this is what Career & Technical Education is all about! 🌟

We are excited to have one of our own return to give back to the program that helped prepare him for his future.

🌟 REAL-WORLD LEARNING IN ACTION! 🌟

Mrs. Donaldson’s Year 2 Health Science students had the privilege of shadowing Nurse Jackson at Wilkinson County High School as she conducted hearing and vision screenings for students.

This hands-on learning experience provided our Health Science students with a valuable opportunity to observe and participate in real-world medical protocols and procedures while gaining a better understanding of the important role healthcare professionals play in promoting student health and wellness.

Experiences like these allow our students to take what they learn in the classroom and connect it to actual healthcare careers—building their knowledge, confidence, and professional skills as they prepare for their futures.

We sincerely thank Nurse Jackson and WCHS for providing our students with this meaningful learning opportunity and for supporting Career and Technical Education! 💚🧡

Wildcat Nation, Homecoming is coming, and we’re looking forward to another great Homecoming Tailgate experience at Wilkinson County High School!

🔥 Tailgate Plot: $30
🎟️ Game Day Pass: $10 per person

Please note: Everyone entering the tailgate area must purchase a $10 Game Day Pass, whether you plan to attend the football game or remain in the tailgate area. Your Game Day Pass gives you access to both the tailgate area and the game.

Most importantly, ALL proceeds from tailgate plots and Game Day Passes will go directly into the WCHS Athletics budget to help provide our student-athletes and athletic programs with the equipment, resources, uniforms, and other necessities they need to be successful.

We’re asking Wildcat Nation to make a small sacrifice for a major cause—OUR STUDENT-ATHLETES! 🏆

There are some GREAT things happening at Wilkinson County High School, and we are working hard to continue building an athletic program and school community that we can all be proud of.
