🙏 A Powerful Reminder from God’s Word 🙏

We were blessed to have Brother Bryce Dobson of Hopewell Memorial Church share a devotion from Matthew 25:1–13, the parable of the ten bridesmaids.

Brother Bryce reminded us that simply going along with the crowd or assuming we are in right standing with God is not enough. In the parable, all ten bridesmaids were waiting for the bridegroom, but only five were truly prepared.

The message was a powerful reminder that our faith must be personal. We cannot depend on someone else’s faith, our surroundings, or simply being part of Christian activities. We must have the Holy Spirit and a genuine, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Just as the wise bridesmaids kept oil in their lamps and were ready when the bridegroom came, we are called to examine our own hearts and be spiritually prepared.

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.” — Matthew 25:13

Thank you, Brother Bryce, for sharing God’s Word and challenging us to consider an important question: Are we simply going along, or do we truly know Jesus?
