🎨📚✨ A Special Shoutout to Our Yearbook Cover Artist!
We’d like to give special recognition and a heartfelt thank-you to 2nd grade teacher Leah Beckman for her dedication and commitment to this year’s yearbook cover. Ms. Beckman taught herself how to paint with oil pastels in order to bring this year’s vision to life in a beautiful cover. We are so grateful for the hours of practice and work she put into creating the 30th anniversary cover. She models the same behavior we encourage in our students: take risks, embrace mistakes, be persistent, and enjoy the lessons learned when successfully completing a task.
This yearbook was designed with intention and heart to make our history come to life.
A huge thank-you to Dr. Wilkins, a retired Bascomb teacher, for going above and beyond to help us track down those very first yearbook photos. And to the family of Dr. Gunderson — your generosity in sharing those memories means more than words can say.
Finally, thank you to the current alumni parents and to those alumni featured in the “Road from Bascomb” Then & Now spotlight for their contributions to this special feature.
*If you didn’t get this year’s, there’s always next year! We have our theme🤐🤗🤫Early sales start in August, so mark those calendars for the best bargain!
