GEAR UP FOR KINDERGARTEN is a program designed to help students who have never before attended school prepare and "GEAR UP" for life in kindergarten. The sole focus of this program is to help students build kindergarten routines ahead of time so they have a good foundation when kindergarten starts on August 12. We will focus on routines and social emotional learning to help your child gain confidence for their first-ever school experience. The "Gear Up for Kindergarten" dates are July 27-August 6 with there being no school on Fridays, and it will run from 8am-12pm. The eight-day program will include district busing for those who need it, and it will also include breakfast and lunch. PREPÁRATE PARA EL KÍNDER es un programa de transición al kínder diseñado para estudiantes que nunca antes han asistido a la escuela para "Prepararse" para la vida en el kínder. El único enfoque de este programa es ayudar a los estudiantes a comenzar a desarrollar rutinas de kínder con anticipación para que tengan una buena base cuando comience el primer día oficial de kínder el 12 de agosto. Nos enfocaremos en las rutinas y el aprendizaje socioemocional para ayudar a su hijo/a a ganar confianza para su primera experiencia escolar. Las fechas de “Prepárate para el Kínder” son del 27 de julio al 6 de agosto, sin clases los viernes, y será de 8 a.m. a 12 p.m. El programa de ocho días incluirá transporte en autobús del distrito para aquellos que lo necesiten, y también incluirá desayuno y almuerzo.
