A little “Love Your Theatre Day” was just what we needed to kick off the 2026–2027 season! 🎭

Our students (old and new) came together for our fall informational meeting (what a turnout!), rolled up their sleeves, cleaned out our space, and started getting everything ready for another year of making theatre magic together.

A new year means new stories, new friendships, new challenges, and SO many exciting things ahead. We’re just getting started—and we have a feeling it’s going to be a great season! ✨

This clip from Stephen Colbert of major Broadway stars performing "Putting It Together" took us back to FIVE years ago... We incorporated a video of the same song into our "hybrid" show; the first show we could do as we were coming out of Covid. We had a live audience for a live performance, but Covid still made it tough. The lyrics ring so true! Congrats to that small group of performers for their perseverance! It's five years later, and Blue Streak Theatre is producing outstanding shows with almost 70 students involved this year. Congrats to Christy Johanson, Billy Seger, and Kristi Geggie for making sure theatre is alive and well at WHS!
