🌽 AMAZING JOB, 5TH GRADE! 🌽

Our 5th graders at PWES are almost done with Unit 1 all about CORN! 🌾✨

Throughout this unit, students have been exploring key concepts through hands-on learning, transforming our 5th-grade hallway into an incredible cornfield, and working hard to write compelling essays—learning how to hook the reader, share fascinating facts, and leave everyone wanting to learn more! 📝💡

They are having so much fun and can't wait to start the next unit to discover new challenges!. We are so proud of their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm! 👏🎉

🌽 ¡GRAN TRABAJO, 5.º GRADO! 🌽

Panther Prowl fun today!

10/02/2026

Each month our students are learning about a different character trait, and our teachers have golden panther paws to hand out when they see students showcasing the trait throughout the month.

The theme for September was: Being a PROTECTOR

At the end of the month, we choose five golden panther paws as our students of the month.

Congratulations to our September winners!

Unlocking the power of Spanish! 🌍✨

1st Grade students dove into stations focused on reading, reading comprehension, and fluency. It’s amazing to see them having fun, supporting one another, and realizing how learning Spanish opens up a whole new world of connection and opportunity. So proud of their growth!
