Quick reminder: Hispanic culture isn't ONE culture.

Hispanic and Latino communities represent many different countries, histories, traditions, foods, music, dialects, celebrations, and family customs.

From Mexico to Puerto Rico, Cuba to Colombia, the Dominican Republic to Guatemala - and so many places in between - each culture brings something uniquely its own.

And that's what makes learning about one another so much fun.

By Thursday of Fall Break, you may have officially heard “I’m bored” one too many times.

So if you are around next week - we got you, Falcon Family. 😂💙💛

Join us for an ET Booth Spirit Night at Stars & Strikes Woodstock on Thursday, September 24 from 6–9 PM! 🎳🎮

Get the kids out of the house. Let them bowl. Let them play some games. Let them hang out with their friends. And YOU can hang out with some other grown folks who also thought Fall Break sounded relaxing a few days ago. 😂

Stars & Strikes will have special Spirit Night packages available for bowling and video game play, with the option to add laser tag and virtual reality.

The 2026–2027 Reflections Program is here, and we want to see YOUR creativity shine! 🌟

This year’s theme is:

“What My Culture Means to Me” 🌎💫
The Reflections Program, sponsored by National PTA and Georgia PTA, gives students the opportunity to express their creativity and personal experiences through the arts.

Students may submit original works in six arts categories:

💃 Dance Choreography
🎬 Film Production
📚 Literature
🎵 Music Composition
📸 Photography
🎨 Visual Arts

Whether you express yourself through movement, storytelling, music, film, photography, or visual art, we want to hear your story and see your perspective!

📅 Submission Deadline: November 1, 2026

📋 IMPORTANT: All submissions must include a complete Student Entry Packet. Entries submitted without a complete packet will be considered incomplete and ineligible for judging.

Football + Bruster’s ice cream on a Saturday?! Say less. 😂🍦🏈

Our amazing community partner Bruster’s will be at the Etowah Jr. Eagles football games THIS SATURDAY, serving up something sweet while we cheer on our 6th, 7th & 8th grade teams!

And the best part? When you grab some ice cream, you’re also supporting ET Booth. 💙💛

Today marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated September 15 through October 15.

But have you ever wondered why it starts in the middle of September instead of on the first of the month?

There’s a pretty cool reason. 👇🏽

🇭🇳 Honduras
🇳🇮 Nicaragua

All five countries celebrate their independence on September 15, dating back to 1821.

And the celebrations keep going!

So September 15 wasn’t randomly picked. It marks an important time in the history of several Latin American countries.

Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, ET Booth PTSA will be sharing a little history, culture, and celebration each week.

MEET OUR FALCON CHAMPION: PAWSITIVELY ZEN! 🐾

You know what makes community support extra special? When you don't have to be directly connected to a school to decide that school is worth supporting. 💙

Our next Community Partner Spotlight is Pawsitively Zen, a local Acworth pet resort and they came to the Falcon Family through a friendship with someone right here at ET Booth.

And they didn't just say, “Sure, we'll support you.” They started showing up before school even began, providing swag for our teachers and staff, and then stepped up again by becoming an official Falcon Champion Community Partner! 🦅🏆

THAT is community.

It's people and local businesses choosing to invest in our students, teachers and staff simply because they believe supporting their community matters.

Today, the ET Booth PTSA remembers the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the first responders and everyday heroes who ran toward danger to help others.

And as we remember 9/11, may we also remember 9/12 - a day when people came together, looked out for their neighbors and reminded us of the power of unity and humanity.

Today, spread a little extra kindness. Check on someone. Hug your family a little tighter. ❤️
