Calling all alumni artists! 📞 This year’s Alumni Weekend festivities will kick-off with a stand-alone exhibit opening to highlight the impressive artwork of WA alumni in our very own Gallery at Loos Center for the Arts. 🎨 We invite alumni of all ages to submit 1-3 recent pieces of artwork in any medium for consideration. The submission deadline is August 1, so head over to theloos.org/call-to-artists today!

Nice visit today with Dan Graves, Chorus and Band Director at The Woodstock Academy from 1971-1984. Dan started the Hill Singers in the 71-72 school year and the program has thrived ever since. Seen with Dan is Amy Ranta (L), who is our current director of the Hill Singers and vocal groups and Lauren Churchill (R) who is our Band director here at the Academy.

Although Woodstock indie singer-songwriter and guitarist Abby Lamarre released “Pink Parka” back in August 2023, it's perfect for winter listening.

Great day yesterday at the Alumni Hockey Game. 24 skaters joined us for a fun, action packed game. Good to see so many alumni take part in what is becoming a great tradition! Special thanks to Black Pond Brews for providing skaters with drink tokens for the brewery. Looking forward to next years game already!

The Alumni Hockey Game is back! It will be Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 3pm at the Jahn Rink on Pomfret School's campus. $25 covers ice time, a WA souvenir cup and a special treat of a beer token to Black Pond Brews at a gathering at Black Pond Brews located at 1001 Hartford Pike, Dayville after the game. Great visit yesterday with 1988 WA graduate Mike Mullaly as we celebrated Veteran's Day at WA. It was awesome that he was able to share his experiences of serving in the military and how it impacted his life. Thank you Mike for your service and for sharing with our students.
