We have received the sad news of another lost cadet, Barry George class of 85. Barry Matthew George, 58, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in the Waynesboro Hospital. Born October 6, 1967, in Tacoma Park, MD he was the son of Adele (Harling) Hampson and the late Burton George.
He is survived by his wife, Julie (Taetle) George, whom he had been with for 26 years; two sons, Cody and Jacob George both of Columbia, MD; and one brother, Andrew George of Odenton, MD.
He was employed as a U.X. Designer, where he created mobile apps. Barry also designed and illustrated tattoos. Barry loved art, and was involved in several forms of art, including sketching. He also enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. He loved rollerblading and snowboarding with his sons, along with other extreme sports. He was a handyman around the house and could often be found crafting with his wife. Barry was an intelligent and loving man. He had a passion for charity, feeding the homeless and doing whatever he could for those in need. He lived a full life.
