The TKA Knights JROTC Program is solidly founded in its Christian beliefs, focusing on benefiting young students to be better citizens of our country.

The Kings Academy Knights Military Science Program was established for homeschoolers and hybrid-homeschoolers to be better equipped citizens and learn to lead in all capacities. Using a military-like structure, we teach cadets how to properly respond to leaders and how to become a leader themselves. Through the program, many cadets are equipped with incredible tools that stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Something we’re incredibly proud here in the Knights Battalion is our service-focused mindset.

Just last semester our cadets accumulated over 700 service hours, and we couldn’t be happier. On top of our programs busy schedule, our cadets made time to serve veterans, families, men struggling with addiction, and disadvantaged individuals.

This is truly what God brought us here to do, and we’re very excited that we are able to serve our community in the way we do.

Big news!

Our VEX Robotics team has just qualified for the state championship! Through months of hard work in a competitive field, and the grace of God, our team has qualified for the Georgia State competition on February 7th and 8th. Now, we’re setting our eyes on the world championship. Georgia has 12 qualifying slots, and our team is determined to fill one, which will only be possible with an outstanding performance next weekend.

At the end of the day, our cadets love VEX robotics, we’ve learned a great deal, and although we’re looking toward the next step, we’re incredibly proud of how we’ve come this far!

Two very patriotic projects in collaboration with the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization; our cadets constructed a fire pit, and conducted a flag retirement ceremony with it.

The cadet who led the construction,
c/PVT Silva reports:
“We helped level the area, move dirt, lay gravel, and build the firepit itself. The materials and instruction were provided by Sampson’s grandfather and another member of the VFW group.”

When a flag is dishonored, damaged, or torn, it must be retired. The VFW collects these flags from families, and they requested the help from our Battalion to respectfully retire them. Our cadets rendered the proper respect to our country’s flag by ceremoniously burning them as an honorable “thank you” to those who have served. Retiring flags is an important duty of good citizens, and our cadets were honored to participate.

God bless America.

This Saturday, our Robotics Team participated in their first VEX competition of the year!

Teams work hard to design, build, and program robots to compete in a game. This year the main goal is to flip rings onto poles, but you can move those poles into corners of the field to apply point modifiers.

We were knocked out in the semi finals, sadly, but the team won the “design award”, which qualified us for the state competition! Hard work pays off.

We are honored to represent the TKA MSP at the Marietta Veterans Day Parade! Marching in this parade means paying tribute to the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. It’s our way of showing gratitude and respect to those who have defended our freedoms. We are proud to be part of a community that values service and remembers our veterans. 🇺🇸

This Wednesday and Friday, instead of a regular MSP day, our cadets had a field trip to Kennesaw mountain. They learned about the important battle that took place there during the civil war, and had a lot of fun! (The photo is from our M/W session)

Afterwards, we visited the Philly connection at 1426 Towne lake parkway for some great food! And of course we let them know we were there for the MSP fundraiser.

Today we lift up our prayers for those who lost their life, or a loved one, on that fateful day twenty three years ago. We also pray for the future to come. That we may remember our history as a nation, and remember the sacrifices brave men and women have made.

Never forget.
