That gentle, rhythmic bounce helps baby feel safe and organized in their body, while giving grownups a chance to slow down, breathe, and connect. Regulation happens together.

How to do it 👇

0–6 months
Lay baby on their back on your lap. Keep movements small and steady and bring your face close for extra connection and regulation.

6–12 months
Sit baby upright but close to your body. Support their head and neck and keep movements gentle until they have full control.

12–18 months
Move baby to your knees and slightly increase the motion. Let their feet touch the floor so they can begin to lead the movement.

18+ months
They can bounce on your knees or jump on their own. Lift them higher for exciting moments and lower to the floor for calmer parts.

Simple movement. Steady rhythm. Deep connection.
