In school did you breathe a sigh of relief if the teacher announced the grade would be "on a curve?" Many of us did! When it comes to God's perfect standard of righteousness, He does NOT show partiality or shift the standard based on human performance. He does NOT grade on a curve. When God needs to discipline His children, He is the model parent. Unfortunately, in the time of the Judges, that kind of discipline was necessary for Israel over and over.
