Good nutrition and learning go hand-in-hand. The goal of D200's Food Services Department is to provide nutritious meals to students to support their journey of education, physical activity, and development.

Each year many families are either Directly Certified though the Illinois State Board of Education or qualify for free or reduced meals based on family size and income. The expiration date for last year's benefits is Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

We encourage our District 200 families to fill out a Free and Reduced Meal Application. There are so many students in our district that can still benefit from our program. The application will take you 5-10 minutes to complete. If you have already received a letter for the 2026-2027 school year from Food Services regarding your Free/Reduced meal status please do not fill out an application.

Today we welcomed in our 6th Graders for WEB orientation! They got to meet all the other Falcons coming to Creekside and their 8th grade WEB Leaders.

Mrs. Stone and Theo Gay attended the Best Buddies Leadership Conference in Bloomington Indiana this past weekend. They were over 2500 people in attendance.

Mrs. Stone attended classes with advisors from all over the world. She can’t wait to bring back new ideas to our Best Buddies chapter.

Theo attended classes with other middle schoolers from around the country. He learned how to make our events accessible for everyone and how to plan events every one will enjoy. He is excited to make our chapter events better with everything he learned.

Best Buddies has few new programs, including the brand new sibling program. Best Buddies has also started inclusive travel.

• Update a pickup or drop-off location
• Ask questions about bus routing or transportation services

🚧 Please note: Due to road construction on Seminary Ave. and Route 47, some bus stops have been relocated to safer pickup and drop-off locations.
