Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy of Woodstock – Fully Accredited Early Childhood Education For All! ❤️ "Hug First, Then Teach" – A Whole-Child Approach.
Safe, nurturing care for infants, preschool, Pre-K & more! 📍 Woodstock, GA. Enroll today! Our most cherished principle, “Hug First, Then Teach”, defines every aspect of who we are at Kids ‘R’ Kids. Unlike many daycare centers or childcare providers, our methodology is a whole child approach. We work to strengthen and encourage every child’s emotional, intellectual, social, and physical well-being
through the expertise of our childcare providers and a unique partnership with parents. Based on decades of experience, we have designed classrooms to create an atmosphere where education and safety are priorities. In addition to being the perfect choice for your family’s early educational needs, we seek to be your partners in the care and education of your child. Is transportation provided to local schools? Yes, our centers have school buses with seat belts to transport children from school in the afternoon to the center. Are field trips offered for the children? Yes, our buses are available for area field trips. We transport children who meet the state’s age requirements. These children are given opportunities to see their community and other places of interest year-round. Whether it is the local grocery store, the petting zoo, the library, and entertainment places such as roller skating, bowling or putt-putt golf, we provide fun and learning for the children and guarantee the maximum protection plan for parent’s peace of mind. Is playtime/outdoor time available? Yes, our schools are equipped with three to four areas of outside play. The children have scheduled times in the morning and the afternoon to explore their outside world. As an added safety feature, our schools have six- to nine-foot fencing around the outside perimeter of the play areas. The play equipment is state-of-the-art, and Kids ´R´ Kids abides by the federal regulations on safety equipment and the surrounding fall zones. Are meals and snacks provided? Yes, we serve hot meals and nutritional snacks. Our location is equipped with a full-service kitchen and staff trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Is your staff trained? Yes, the Kids ´R´ Kids faculty are required to follow the state regulations that apply to training. All staff are trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age-appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations provide the skills needed to create a quality learning environment. The staff is encouraged to further their education through CDA and CCP programs and are given opportunities to attend professional training conferences. Is there internet viewing of my child at your center? Yes, our internet viewing system can connect parents and family members to their child while at work or thousands of miles away. Through a secured internet site and unique password, you can observe your child´s daily activities through your computer. The same cameras are fed to the front desk for additional monitoring by administrative staff. How can I get more information about enrolling my child? We are glad you are interested in finding out more about our schools. Please use the contact form to provide us with your name, address and phone number. We will send you more information through the mail. We look forward to meeting you when you come in for a tour.

🫧💦 Sensory Fun in the Twos! 💦🫧
Our two-year-olds had an absolute SPLASH this week exploring the sensory table filled with bubbly, soapy water! 🧼✨
Little hands were scooping, pouring, squeezing, and swirling — making mountains of bubbles and lots of happy giggles along the way! 😄🫧 From practicing fine motor skills to exploring textures and cause-and-effect, this hands-on play was packed with learning (and a little splash zone fun, too! 💧😉).
There’s nothing sweeter than watching their faces light up as they discover something new. 💙 Sensory play helps build coordination, creativity, and confidence — all while having a bubbly good time!
We love learning through play! 🫶

WEEK 30- MAGIC UMBRELLA
I will choose a child to be the weather reporter. The child will wear the weather apron, look through the window or door, and report the weather. I will explain that the weather reporter checks the sky and tells others about the weather. I will show the children an umbrella and ask what it is and what it is used for, welcoming all responses. I will define an umbrella as protection against the rain or sun and demonstrate how to open and close it. I will show the chart paper and explain that we will create a story about a magic umbrella. I will invite each child to contribute a line and record their words, encouraging them to speak in complete sentences. Once the story is finished, I will model reading by slowly pointing to each word. I will ask each child what color their magic umbrella would be and then transition to the next activity.
OUTCOMES
❑ demonstrate use of
expanded sentences and
sentence structure
❑ describe activities and
experiences using details
WEEK 30- WET CHALK DRAWINGS
I will help the children put on smocks and invite them to create pictures using the materials on the tables. I will remind them that they have learned about different types of weather and umbrellas and encourage them to make pictures of rainbows and weather scenes. I will show them how to dip the chalk into water and ask if they think wet chalk looks the same on paper as dry chalk. I will continue this activity in groups of three to six children until everyone has had a chance to participate.
OUTCOMES
❑ use a variety of tools and art
media to express individual
creativity

WEEK 30- SPLATTER PLATTER PAINTING
I will provide each child with a ball and explain that they will dip or roll the ball in blue paint to create “rain puddles” on the paper. I will model how to gently throw or roll the ball onto the butcher paper to make splatter and puddle effects, reminding them to aim only at the paper. I will encourage the children to observe how the paint spreads and forms different shapes, just like real rain puddles after a storm. I will replace the butcher paper with a fresh sheet as needed. I will continue this activity in groups of three to six children until everyone has had the opportunity to participate.
OUTCOMES
❑ use a variety of tools and art
media to express individual
creativity

WEEK 30- STORM REPORTS
I will choose a child to be the weather reporter. The child will wear the weather apron, look through the window or door, and report the weather. I will read a weather-themed book about storms and ask open-ended questions throughout. I will explain that different kinds of storms happen and that a hurricane is a tropical storm with lots of rain, lightning, and strong winds. I will ask who has heard about a twister or tornado. I will show the children a soda bottle and say, “I have a tornado in a bottle.” I will let each child take a turn shaking the bottle and invite them to describe what happens. I will transition to the next activity with a song of my choice.
OUTCOMES
❑ observe and discuss
changes in weather from
day to day

🌸🎨 Creative Exploration with Our Little Artists! 🎨🌸
Today our sweet infants explored art in the most adorable way — by painting with a flower! 🌼💛
Tiny hands grasped soft petals, dipped them into bright, beautiful colors, and stamped their own little masterpieces onto paper. 🖐️🎨 Watching their curiosity bloom as they discovered new textures, shapes, and patterns was pure magic! ✨🌈
There were giggles 🤭, colorful surprises 😲, and lots of proud smiles as each little artist created something uniquely their own. 💕
Sensory play like this helps build fine motor skills, encourages creativity, and lets imaginations blossom! 🌷🖌️ We are so proud of our budding Picassos! 🎨👶
