For the last 8 years I have been lucky enough to live my dream by owning and operating the Little School on the Farm. Combining my passions of early childhood education, exploring the outdoors, homesteading, and agriculture has been a true blessing. I have met so many amazing children and wonderful families whom I hope that I have left a positive and lasting impact on. I had hoped to continue this dream for many more years but unfortunately, our Little School will be closing its doors at the end of this school year. The cost of life, insurance, running a farm, etc. has made this a necessary decision. Finding a more stable income is just what is necessary for my family at this time. It breaks my heart to say good-bye but I am blessed to have lived out this dream if only for awhile. With that being said I am hoping to manifest the perfect new position. I still intend to work with children in some capacity and hold out hope that my other passions can continue to be incorporated in some way. Who knows, maybe a school district wants to hire me to come in and teach children about the importance of homesteading and agriculture. I would love to have the flexibility to continue my homeschool group but I will see where life leads me. Whether I end up back in the classroom or teaching others about the importance of play and nature based learning I intend to do it with my whole heart. So all that being said, thank you for your support over the years and if you know of a position that would be a fit for me please keep me in mind.
