Go New York, Go New York, Go! 🧡💙🧡💙 The New York Knicks are NBA Champions, and Academy of the City is celebrating with a Knicks Spirit Day TOMORROW, June 18th!
All students are encouraged to show their Knicks pride by wearing their favorite blue and orange gear. No uniform is required for the day. Let’s come together and celebrate this historic championship with school spirit and team pride!
Please Note: 5th grade students may continue to dress to impress for their Stepping Up Ceremony tomorrow, June 18th.

🏆🎉 What an incredible evening at our 3rd Annual Athletics Awards Dinner on June 5, 2026!
We came together to celebrate the dedication, growth, and achievements of our outstanding student-athletes while recognizing another successful year of AoC Athletics.
This special event highlighted the continued growth of our program and the strong team-first culture our students have built through hard work, perseverance, sportsmanship, and support for one another.

We cannot wait to see them continue to thrive as they begin 1st Grade. The future is bright for the Class of 2026!

As part of PCO Bingo, two lucky fifth-grade students earned a unique opportunity to serve as Principals in Training for the day! They shadowed our Head of School, Ms. Santacruz, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at school leadership.
From attending meetings and assisting with Kindergarten Graduation rehearsals to helping with important school responsibilities, our student principals experienced firsthand what it takes to lead the AoC community.
It was an exciting and memorable day filled with learning, leadership, and lots of fun!
Middle School! Get ready for Field Day on Friday, June 5th. We’ve got great activities planned, some exciting surprises, and plenty of opportunities for students to show their school spirit!
Two Field Day favorites are returning this year! We are excited for the return of our tie-dye station and water activities. Students who wish to participate in our water activities should bring a change of clothes and expect to get wet and have fun.
