An NYT Invitation For Fraternal Solidarity & Global Unity – Celebrate 53 Golden Years Of TRISKELION GREATNESS BROTHERS and SISTERS,

fellow TRISKELIONS – Let us come together on Sunday, October 3, 2021, and, with the New York Triskelions RENEW our VOWS of LOYALTY, FRATERNAL SOLIDARITY, and GLOBAL UNITY to our fraternal organization.

REMEMBER – how many years ago we were young men and women, in our various communities, our campuses, in search of meaning and purpose in life. We came from various backgrounds – from the cities, from the provinces, from various economic strata in life – rich, poor, middle class. we joined – some out of curiosity, others to prove ourselves worthy, to test our strength – but WE JOINED, knowing that joining would mean physical challenge and pain, psychological pressure, the threat of physical violence in a social environment fraught with inter-frat warfare and competition.

WE JOINED – knowing that some of the things we previously valued would no longer have meaning. WE JOINED – knowing that we would learn new lessons in RESPECT: FOR OTHERS, RESPECT FOR OUR SUPERIORS, RESPECT FOR OUR SENIORS, and in the process, we learned HUMILITY, PATIENCE, and TOLERANCE FOR OTHERS. Lessons that served us well in LIFE. WE WERE FORGED IN THE FURNACE of our Initiation Rites, the hammer that forged into our commitment to upholding the Tenets and Codes Of Conduct many of us still carry, along with the scars that remind us of the pain from that day many years ago – in our youth.

A reminder also of the Brothers and Sisters no longer with us, for those who PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE for their LOYALTY TO OUR FRATERNAL BOND. WE, THE LEADERS WHO NOW CARRY THE MANTLE OF RESPONSIBILITY are now calling all of you – Brothers and SISTERS, FOR JUST THIS ONE SPECIAL NIGHT, to congregate and RENEW our faith in each other, forget our differences and different opinions, and – just for this one special night - CONSIDER what we are capable of accomplishing for each other, and through our GLOBAL COMMUNITIES, IN UNITY.
