Just submitted my first scholarship recommendation letter for one of my students! I am so honored that they would ask me and I just hope I did them proud! 🎻
It's so crazy to think that I started teaching them in the summer between 6th and 7th grade and here we are now a few months out from graduation! It's one of those moments that makes me really feel old! 😄

My students did so well at their concert last night! Videos to come in a few days! Also let's note how many of them are going to surpass me in height or who those who already have. (I'm wearing heels too 😂) They all bring me such immense joy! I love every minute of teaching them! 💕

When I tell my students that I've been there when it comes to not wanting to practice I am not lying, but to be where I am now I did have to take I initiative and choose for myself that I wanted to continue.

Haven't been too active lately been figuring out my life outside of teaching and getting in a better spot. But with that time away I have been prepping for my first group lesson sessions with my students!

I can't wait to use these cute Dynamics Symbols for those lessons and then use them as decor in my studio! This weekend I'm going to work on getting my students to really FEEL what they're playing! I believe the earliest way to start learning how to feel the emotion in music is by paying attention to the dynamics!
