I hid for years....
* Afraid people wouldn't understand my message.
* Afraid people would think the good catholic girl was crazy.
* Afraid people would think I was just the "s*x" lady.
Behind closed doors, I was open as can be, but to clearly articulate how I serve got muffled in societal shame. I didn't want people to get the wrong message. This work is more than getting your "mojo" back and enjoying intimacy with your partner.
Have you ever felt that way?
* Longing for more, but taking a back seat?
* Saying you want to spread your message, but sitting back in fear?
* Worrying about what others would say?
Recently I had an experience where I was rocked to the core. This is where someone calls you out on your bu****it. When you are so into your story you just can't see it and then BAMM!!
10 years ago, I started my journey and in a small group of women vowed that my mission and purpose in life was to teach women how to love and honor their bodies, their sensuality and s*xuality as a woman and to heal generational patterns of feminine wounding. On that retreat I had felt my body for the very first time. I had NO IDEA I was hiding. I had no idea what it really meant to feel my body, and all parts of it.
For last 10 years I have been on an amazing journey. I have studied with s*xuality experts, read tons of books, healed many wounds, used my own relationships to grow, got to know my own body, shared my stories and been vulnerable to the core. I started a podcast and even just published a 6- book series on how to live a Sensual Feminine life. I keep doing the deep internal work so that I can continue to be real and share my experiences with others.
This work is not about s*x. The way we view our body, sensuality and s*xuality as a woman defines how we live our lives. It impacts our power, our confidence, and our overall worthiness as a woman. Physical intimacy can be used for both pleasure and purification, but no one teaches us this. We have a secret weapon inside of us that can transform our lives, if only we weren't afraid to embrace it. If only people would talk openly about it.
Our sensuality as a woman and connecting with our pleasure is our greatest gift and it impacts WAY MORE than our relationship with our partner. We can use our body to release guilt, shame, stress, anxiety and overwhelm, but we must connect with our body and not neglect her or be afraid of her.
I live what I teach. I walk the talk. I intend to share more with you and open up more dialogue so that more women can dive deeper into the next layer of owning their sensuality and s*xuality as a woman.
We all start somewhere. It doesn't matter where you are on the journey. Let us be mirrors for each other and hold space for our healing and growth.
I see you, I am you, I love you.
