This week, our little learners explored the important roles of the community helpers who keep our neighborhoods safe, healthy, and thriving! ❤️

And we made it extra special with a visit from our local Woodlawn Fire Department! 🚒🔥 Our students had the opportunity to meet some amazing firefighters, learn about fire safety, and get an up-close look at the work they do in our community.

We’re so grateful to our local heroes for taking the time to pour into our little ones! 🥰

Our little learners splashed into some water play, turning a warm day into an exciting hands-on learning experience! From exploring water, practicing pouring and scooping, to building social skills and simply having fun with friends—there’s so much learning happening beyond the classroom walls. 🧠💙

🌈🍰 Learning is always sweeter when we make it interactive! 🍰🌈

We kicked off our School-Age After-School Curriculum with ALL THINGS RAINBOWS! 🌈✨ And of course, we couldn’t just talk about rainbows—we had to EAT one! 😋

Our school-agers got hands-on and did all the heavy work themselves as they created their very own rainbow cake! 🎂🌈 From mixing to layering, they worked together, had fun, and finished the activity with a well-deserved sweet treat. 💕

Our Pre-K scholars had so much fun during small groups learning about fractions and counting! 🔢✨

And of course, we made it P for PIZZA! 🍕💛 We practiced counting pizza slices while learning how a whole can be divided into parts.

This week at KCA, we’re learning all about the Letter R and Rainbows! 🌈🔤 Our school-agers decided they wanted in on the fun too, so they rolled up their sleeves and created their very own Rainbow Caterpillars! 🐛🎨

We love watching our kiddos turn learning into colorful, hands-on experiences! 💙❤️💛💚

There was poppin’ fun at KCA! 🍿✨

Our school agers had an amazing time visiting Poppin in the City, where they got a behind-the-scenes look at how the best popcorn in town is made! From watching the popping process to learning what makes each batch so delicious, it was a fun and educational experience our students won’t forget.

A huge thank you to Poppin in the City for welcoming us and making our field trip so special. We love supporting our local businesses while creating unforgettable memories for our students! ❤️

We’re proud to be a Bully-Free Zone, and this summer our school-age students have been learning how to choose kindness, show respect, include others, and stand up for what’s right.

As they head back to school, they’re taking more than memories with them, they’re carrying the tools to build friendships, spread positivity, and make every classroom a safer, happier place.
