Last fall our students explored pumpkins from seed to pulp. We dried the seeds, planted them in the spring, and each child took home two baby plants. The Kuntzman Family was kind enough to share a picture of the pumpkin they grew from their school plant, and we couldn’t love this full‑circle moment more.

This summer has been such a sweet season of growth at CLA. Last year we had 6 little ones. This year we are celebrating 12 tiny voices filling our class with joy. We’re so grateful for every child that God brings through our doors.

Thinking about a new school for your K–5 student? Join us for an Open House at Cornerstone Leadership Academy!

At CLA, students receive individualized instruction in a Christ-centered environment designed to meet them at their current academic level and help them grow with confidence.

Our one-room school model allows students to progress at their own pace while building strong foundations in reading, writing, mathematics, and biblical truth.

During our Open House, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Meet our staff
• Tour the classroom
• Explore curriculum and instructional materials
• Learn about our ability-based approach
• Ask questions about enrollment

Last week’s trip to the dairy farm was a blast! The Redeker family welcomed us in and showed our students how farmers feed, milk, and care for cows at every stage of life.

Our class loved watching the milking machine in action, meeting brand-new calves (including a one-day-old!), and learning how crops like corn, soybeans, hay, and grass help keep cows healthy.

We’re grateful for real-world experiences like this that bring learning to life through our community. A special thank you to the Redeker family for their time, hospitality, and the reminder of how faithfully farmers across America work to provide for us.
