Dear Pioneer High School Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!
It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Pioneer High School. I am truly honored to join the Pioneer Team and look forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff throughout the school year.
I appreciate your patience as I settle into my new role. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been focused on preparing for a successful and smooth start to the school year. I couldn't be more excited to officially welcome you and begin this journey together.
A little about me: I bring a diverse background in education and a deep passion for supporting students. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, along with direct experience in Special Education and English Language Development (ELD). Most recently, I served as the Principal of Maxwell Elementary School, and prior to that, I was the Vice Principal at Woodland High School. Returning to the high school setting truly feels like coming home. I am excited to leverage these experiences to support every student in reaching their fullest potential.
I believe every student deserves to feel seen, valued, challenged, and supported. Together with our PHS teachers, staff, and families, we will continue to build a school culture that is safe, inclusive, engaging, and focused on academic excellence, personal growth, and preparing students for success beyond graduation.
Strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success. I look forward to working alongside you, celebrating our students' achievements, and creating meaningful opportunities for them. Please don't hesitate to introduce yourself when you see me.

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2026–2027!
Con gran entusiasmo y agradecimiento, me presento como la nueva Directora de Pioneer High School. Es un verdadero honor unirme al equipo de Pioneer y espero conocer a nuestros estudiantes, familias y personal durante este año escolar.
Agradezco su paciencia mientras me adapto a mi nuevo puesto. Durante las últimas semanas, he estado enfocada en preparar un inicio de año escolar exitoso y organizado. Estoy muy emocionada de darles oficialmente la bienvenida y comenzar este camino juntos.
Un poco sobre mí: Tengo una amplia experiencia en educación y una gran pasión por apoyar a los estudiantes. A lo largo de mi carrera, he tenido el privilegio de enseñar en los niveles de primaria, secundaria y preparatoria, además de contar con experiencia directa en Educación Especial y Desarrollo del Idioma Inglés (ELD). Más recientemente, me desempeñé como Directora de Maxwell Elementary School y, antes de eso, fui Subdirectora de Woodland High School. Regresar al nivel de preparatoria realmente se siente como volver a casa. Estoy emocionada de utilizar estas experiencias para apoyar a cada estudiante y ayudarle a alcanzar su máximo potencial.
Creo que todos los estudiantes merecen sentirse vistos, valorados, desafiados y apoyados. Junto con los maestros, el personal y las familias de PHS, continuaremos construyendo una cultura escolar segura, inclusiva y atractiva, enfocada en la excelencia académica, el crecimiento personal y la preparación de nuestros estudiantes para el éxito después de la graduación.
Las sólidas alianzas entre la escuela y el hogar son esenciales para el éxito estudiantil. Espero trabajar junto a ustedes, celebrar los logros de nuestros estudiantes y crear oportunidades significativas para ellos. Por favor, no duden en presentarse cuando me vean.
