Autism & Behavior Training Associates Professional Development Highly skilled educational tainers and consultants in the areas of autism and behavior Teacher training alone is not enough.

ABTA Professional Development is proud to offer services to assist Local Education Agencies in meeting the educational needs of their students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. Inservice Training, Program Assistance/Review and Comprehensive Institutes for Educators are among the services we provide to help build capacity within public education settings and

programs. Each Associate has first hand work experience in public education;has hands-on classroom experience as well as expertise in mentoring and consultation; has knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), best practices, teaching strategies and the public education system make us uniquely qualified to train other educators. As the number of students identified with Autism (current estimates are 1:88), ADHD (current estimated are 1:30) and other neuro-developmental disabilities effecting behavior continue to climb, there is a great need to prepare for their educational needs and to build the capacity within public education to meet the needs of these challenging students. A supportive infrastructure must also be established that will allow trained professionals to implement the best practices. ABTA Professional Development is prepared to support Local Education Agencies throughout the nation meet their increasing needs for schools and educators skilled to meet the needs of all learners.
