I love a good "plot twist" and "change" is my best friend! ; )
Last I posted about my long-awaited move to Sedona, AZ, the plan was to keep everything going (all three businesses I own; Breathe WH, Blue Planet 4 kids, and Outside the Box, Woodland Hills) and make my move. Everything would just continue to be "mobile".
Over the Christmas break, I made the decision to shut it all down, sell everything, cut the cords, and move on to the next chapter of my life! I felt peace with the decision after realizing, "Outside the Box" is a beast with over 23 field sessions up and running and several waiting! It needs continuous management and I would end up just running it from out of state! That does not lead to a conducive "new start" and would distract me from my new endeavors that I am insanely excited about!
I made the announcements in my classes last week, and the response was overwhelming. One mom started crying as I had taught two of her children since they were babies and she has a new nugget on the way. It was then, that I realized maybe the business could be adopted by the right person and continue its work. The perfect buyer in my mind would be an OTB mom who understands the program. This business is for sale.
Blue Planet may have a new owner, if not, that business is for sale. I am really happy to report that in 4 short years, Blue Planet has built a name and reputation for itself with local preschools and other similar venues. These Big Blue Blocks are a unique draw and not available many places in Southern California. Combined with Foam events, Blue Planet created its own brand. This business is for sale.
Outside the Box is a 19 year old prominent brand in the Los Angeles area with three licensees. Built from one class of 11 moms in my living room, I have little words to describe how this business took on a life of its own. OTB has helped countless new mothers and fathers over the years. With over 7,000 parents in the program, it quickly became a well known Parent & Me program that prioritized Brain Development through play. We were "sensory oriented" before it became a trend, and we were one of the firsts to offer sensory play to "typical" children. This business is for sale.
Breathe is being relocated. Patients/clients will still be 100% serviced in Northridge.
Right now, we are in the process of pricing out the equipment for OTB. If the business does not sell, we will be "piece-selling" the equipment to preschools, and similar programs.
Blue Planet is priced out and ready to go. These two businesses offer an incredible business popprtunity for someone who wants a rewarding and fulfilling reaon to wake up in the morning! ; )
