Our goal is to give our students the skills to become independent artists. Our instructors will act as mentors, creating a personal relationship with each student, guiding them on their own individual artistic journey. Our students will learn the techniques to create beautiful works of art. They will be challenged to truly and accurately represent what they see in order to create life-like sketch

es and paintings. Throughout our on-going program, students will learn techniques in composition, value and shading, color mixing and matching, and how to build a finished work of art in charcoal, pastel and oil paint.

Woodland Hills ceramics studio expansion is finally complete. We finally feel like there’s a perfect flow to everything after lots of shuffling stuff around until we felt the perfect vibe. Thanks to our amazing ceramics team and all their hard work getting the pottery studio to look like this.❤️ we love it!

At Viridian Art, our Studio Art classes for ages 8+ are about so much more than making beautiful artwork. Students build strong fundamental art skills in drawing, painting, color, composition and technique - while gaining confidence in their own artistic abilities and developing their individual creative voice.

And for our littlest artists, our Lil Artist and Itty-Bitty Art classes give young children a playful, hands-on introduction to art making, creativity and self-expression.

We love watching our students grow up in the studio- learning new skills, taking creative risks, making friends and finding a community where being an “art kid” is celebrated.
