A day at the apple orchard!
We didn’t have to venture far into our community to find an opportunity for learning and fun! Our neighbors graciously invited our Attic community to visit their orchard, where they learned the benefits of pesticide-free, organic growing practices and how to make apple juice. At the end, our neighbors gifted each learner with a bottle of apple juice and as many apples as they could carry!
We are so grateful for our community of friends and neighbors who make learning beyond the classroom—and right in our own neighborhood—so meaningful!

The Attic was founded in 1999, and is a Preschool-12th grade independent school where children are known, engaged, and challenged to grow. We combine robust, intentional, tailored academics with hands-on learning, meaningful relationships, nature as a classroom, and the autonomy to explore and create.
