Bates Elementary PTO This is a page for staff, parents and students to stay informed about the things going on in our school.

We are excited for some big changes in the 2012-2013 school year. We have a new PTO board, and are planning on having lots of fun this year. Our PTO believes that our students are the focus of all we do, and the heart of our school. On this page you will be able to find lots of information. We will post the weekly breakfast and lunch menus, any upcoming school events, field trips, and other import

ant dates and information. We also hope that if you take pictures of your student(s) on field trips, at school events or in class that you will tag us so we have more pictures accessible to use in our school yearbook.

Michigan Universal Free Meal Program

WBSD is excited to announce we have been approved into the Michigan Universal Free Meal Program.

Complete breakfasts and lunches will be free for every student during the 2023-24 school year. As always, a la carte items are not part of the free component but will be available for purchase.

While the free and reduced application isn’t required, we encourage all families to complete a simple survey linked on the district website. This information will be further utilized for reduced pricing for pay to participate, testing fees and other reduced pricing.
