We are down to our last two weeks of summer before our Gators begin the 2026.27 school year. Please click on the link below to take a peek at our first set of Gator Bites (weekly newsletter) for the new school year. The newsletter is full of information about Open House, class assignment release date, Bus Schedules, our building calendar, construction updates, supply lists, news staff intros, our 2027 Yake Family Night (February 15, 2027) at Kalahari (book your special room rate early as our block of rooms will fill up quickly), our Watch D.O.G.S. 📌 Annual Enrollment Confirmation – Action Required

Before the 2026–27 school year begins, all parents/guardians must complete the Annual Enrollment Confirmation in Parent Connect. This quick online process ensures we have your current email, phone number, and emergency contact information in the WBSD system.
Completing this step is required before you can view your student’s teacher or class schedule.

Available in Parent Connect starting Friday, August 28 at 4 p.m. (Elementary schools)
Exception: Brownstown Middle School schedules/teacher assignments will be posted Wednesday, August 26

If your child will be starting Kindergarten this fall, now is the time to get registered!

🚧 Bond 2021 Construction Update! 🏗️💜

Big things are happening at Bates, Erving, Gudith, Wegienka and Yake Elementary Schools!

Construction has been in full swing all summer as we prepare to welcome students back on September 8. Thanks to the support of our community through the 2021 Bond, our elementary schools are being transformed with exciting new learning spaces designed for today's students and tomorrow's opportunities.

When students return, they'll be welcomed by:
✨ New secure entryways/offices
✨ New classroom additions (Gudith)
✨ Remodeled classrooms (Wegienka)
✨ Updated library and media centers (Wegienka)
✨ Innovative SMARTLab learning spaces (Wegienka)
✨ Newly paved parking lots (Bates, Gudith)

These improvements are more than just construction projects - they're investments in our students, our staff and the future of Woodhaven-Brownstown School District.
