*A Jewish Soul Found at the New Valley Chabad!*

Today at the construction site of our new home, I met Slava, one of the HVAC workers. He came to America four years ago, after the war in Ukraine began.

He said he wasn’t Jewish. But then he mentioned he’s from Odessa. Odessa? You’re sure you’re not Jewish? “Well, my grandmother was Jewish. My mama’s mama.”

That means Slava is 100% Jewish, and he never knew it!

And right there, Slava put on tefillin for the first time in his life and had his Bar Mitzvah!

The building isn’t even finished, and it’s already welcoming Jews home.
