Wedding anniversary number 13 (Tuesday) was definitely lucky for me!

My name is Andrew Eisler and I am running for the Woodcliff Lake Board of Education. My wife Heather and I moved to Woodcliff Lake in 2010 and we have two children at Dorchester Elementary School. We chose Woodcliff Lake because of its reputation as a family-friendly town with an amazing school system.

After majoring in Biology from Union College, I earned a Masters in Teaching and a second Masters in Educational Leadership. I have taught middle school science locally for the last 18 years, where I wrote curriculum for the Pascack Valley region, piloted school initiatives, developed classroom management strategies, expanded our STEAM programs, and led our robotics team to international competitions. I have also coached multiple levels of tennis in addition to soccer, softball, and basketball in Woodcliff Lake, continuing to highlight the importance of youth development throughout my life. I have a vested interest in working hard for this community to ensure our children receive the best possible education. My personal experience in this field makes me especially well suited to helping to steer our district in a beneficial direction for all students.
