MORE WORK DOESN’T ALWAYS MEAN MORE PROGRESS. 💪
Training harder, longer, and more often doesn’t automatically make you a better athlete.
Performance improves when training, recovery, and adaptation work together.
💪 TRAINING: Creates the stimulus for improvements in strength, speed, power, and conditioning.
😴 SLEEP: Supports muscle repair, nervous system recovery, and athletic development. Most teenage athletes need 8–10 hours per night.
🔄 RECOVERY: Allows the body to adapt to training stress. Without it, fatigue accumulates and performance can suffer.
📊 TRAINING VOLUME: More isn’t always better. The right amount depends on age, experience, sport demands, and recovery capacity.
Remember, ALL training stress counts. Practices, games, lifting, conditioning, and competition all contribute to an athlete’s total workload.
At Torque Sport Performance, we don’t believe in making athletes tired just to make them tired.
We believe in purposeful programming, appropriate progressions, and managing training loads to maximize long term development.
The goal isn’t to see how much work an athlete can handle. It’s how much quality work they can adapt to.
🔥 TRAIN SMART. RECOVER HARD. PERFORM BETTER.
