We had 14 members of our club compete at the 30th Junior Beta National Convention in Nashville over the past few days. These members worked very hard and competed against members and teams from the other 18 member states. Although we only placed in one competition, we are so proud of our members because they put forth their Beta best. We want to express our appreciation to everyone who helped us make this a great convention. This was the last Junior convention for our 8th grade members. We want to thank them as well and wish them all the best at CCHS and hope they will continue their Beta journey in Senior Beta.

Last night was Beta Night at the Opry. In this special event, Betas from the 18 member states were treated to a special presentation of the Opry. The performers were Rhett Akins, RaeLynn, a performance with Rhett and RaeLynn, Chris Scruggs and the Swamp Fox 5, Tiger Lily Gold, and Chris Jansen, who performed several songs and ended the show by running through the crowd of Betas giving high 5s. For all of the Betas, this slice of Nashville tradition was an experience to remember!

CCMS Betas have been working hard representing our club and state. Today, Addison Bogle received 2nd place in the nation for her picture. Today, teams will compete in Beta Blitz and All the World’s a Stage. Also, Whitleigh Cossey will be competing in Solo, Duo, Trio Preliminaries.
