NLA Student Council

NLA Student Council New Life Academy Student Council is the brains behind this school year's fun, as well as important student body events.

The New Life Academy Student Council consists of each grade's elected officials. We plan every major event throughout the school year and do our best to make every year memorable and fun. Through brainstorming and extensive planning, we bring events like Spring Formal, Sadie Hawkins, and Semi-Formal to the student body. Other events like blood drives and Spirit Week are also planned and run by Stu

dent Council. We also represent each secondary grade and the student body by working with administration and faculty to bring about change whenever it is needed.

STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTIONS FOR GRADES 9,10, & 11 ARE COMING UP!
The time is now to sign up to run for 2014-2015 student council!

All freshman, sophomores, and juniors need to sign up by Friday, September 12th with Mr Westlund.

Campaign Week: September 15-18
Election Day: September 19th during 1st hour

STUDENT COUNCIL LEADERSHIP COUNCIL ELECTIONS 2014!!!

-Juniors, if you would like to run for election to the student council leadership council please sign up with Mr. Westlund by Friday, May 2nd!

-Campaign week is May 5th to May 9th

-Campaign speeches will be on friday May 9th during flex time in Mr. Westlund's room

-Voting will take place in homeroom on Monday, May 12th

8th-12th grade students, the Auction needs you!

The NLA Auction is Saturday, April 5th and we need student volunteers to help out that night! Hang out with your friends, get a free t-shirt, free meal, and earn service hours. Sign up in the Cafeteria this Monday and Tuesday during flex-time and lunch or talk to someone from Student Council.

Freshman boys and Senior girls will be served a special pizza lunch! Also they will be allowed to wear spirit wear due to Anu Otgonbat (senior) and Noah Frazier (freshman) winning the Hunger Games 2014 Competition!
