🐄🏆Tennessee FFA Dairy Evaluation🏆🐄

We are incredibly proud of our Dairy Evaluation Team! At the state contest held at the Wilson County Fairgrounds, our team evaluated six classes of cows, calves, and heifers, gave two sets of oral reasons and completed a DHIA record exam using real dairy herd data.

🥉Our team finished 3rd in the STATE — just 7 points shy of 1st place — and 1st in Middle Tennessee!

The department is proud to announce that more than $2.6 million in Perkins Reserve Grant (PRG) funds have been awarded to 58 school districts for the 2026-27 school year to strengthen Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs statewide.

These investments will help expand high-quality learning opportunities, equip students with in-demand skills, and prepare the next generation of Tennessee’s workforce for success. 🚀🏫🔧

🏆Woodbury FFA- TN Gold Chapter🏆

We are excited to announce that Woodbury FFA has been recognized as a Tennessee Gold Chapter and will advance to the final level in the National FFA Chapter Award Program!

This award recognizes outstanding chapters in Growing Leaders, Building Communities and Strengthening Agriculture. We are one of only 27 chapters statewide, and among the top 10% of Tennessee FFA chapters, to earn this recognition and advance to national judging.
