Get ready to launch your creativity! The Springwoods PTA is kicking off their Mission Springwoods Galaxy Color Run T-Shirt Design Contest, and they need YOU to design this year's official Nest Shirts! 🦅✨
🎨 Theme: Mission Springwoods Galaxy
🌟 Design Requirements:
Incorporate our four Nest colors: Purple, Blue, Green, and Yellow
Include our Nest mascots. Think space! Planets, stars, rockets, galaxies, astronauts, constellations, or anything that captures the excitement of our mission.
📅 Deadline to Submit: September 3
🏆 Winning Design Announced: September 8
🖍️ Medium: All entries must be hand-drawn using pencil, crayons, colored pencils, or markers.
👩‍🚀 Parents, we know you're creative too—but this mission belongs to our students!
🏅 The winning design will be featured on this year's official Color Run Nest Shirts and will be worn with pride all year long.

Today we celebrated with our Fourth Quarter Nest Celebration, and as always, Eagle Nation showed out with incredible nest pride!

Congratulations to Kyokan, who was crowned champion for the second year in a row. And no, the competition is not fixed! Every nest has an opportunity to earn points and compete for the title throughout the year by showing off Emmett's Essentials day in and day out.

Whether you're showing Empathy, Resilience, Confidence, or Integrity, Springwoods remains Four Eagle Nests, One Eagle Nation.

The big question now: Will Kyokan make it three championships in a row next year, or will another nest rise, roar, or howl its way to the top?

3rd Grade and 4th Grade Robotics Teams had a great time competing in Fun Day at Osbourn Park High School on Sunday! 🤖🎉

This event was all about having fun, learning, and celebrating robotics together with other teams. There was no placing or awards this time — just a day full of teamwork, creativity, and excitement!

We are so proud of our students for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Great job, teams! And thank you to Ms. Simonds and her team of volunteer coaches who have been coaching our teams this year; our teams would not be possible without your efforts!👏

5th Grade Shark Tank Winners! 🦈
Our 5th grade students participated in a Shark Tank project in STEAM where they identified a real‑world problem, designed an original solution, and pitched their product to a panel of judges. Judges evaluated each project based on design and innovation. Congratulations to our outstanding teams—1st and 2nd place winners in each category! We are so proud of your creativity and hard work!

1st Place Innovation Award: Laundry Folder - Rahil, Ava, and Mila from Ms. Forbes-Walker's class
2nd Place innovation Award: Carbon Ghost - Quinten and Declan from Ms. Douse's class

As we head into SOL testing season, we kicked things off today with our annual SOL Parade in the bus loop, and it did not disappoint. With fun music, high energy, and lots of Eagle pride, our younger Eagles showed up big to cheer on our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders.

It was a powerful reminder that Eagles support Eagles and that our entire school community is behind our students as they head into testing. SOLs begin next week, with specific schedules shared by classroom teachers, and we are excited to keep this positive momentum going.
