Woodbridge Senior High School Performing Arts is seeking a current middle school student to play a supporting role in the Spring Musical Production of The Sound of Music. We would like to cast a middle school student in the role of Gretl Von Trapp to share the stage with our high school performers.

When is the performance?
The Sound of Music at WSHS will be presented April 3-6 with rehearsals for this role beginning in February.

Who May Audition?
Any female-identifying student in either 6th, 7th, or 8th grade.
Auditionees must be under 5'0"
Must be a PWCS student in one of the following feeder schools: Lake Ridge MS, Fred Lynn MS, Woodbridge MS.

When is the Audition Deadline?
Please submit your audition by Friday, Jan 24th. 5:00 PM

We had an amazing opening night! Three more chances to see this stunning production of Shakespeare's classic story.

Our show reimagines the characters amongst the patients and staff of a 1960s Psychiatric Institute. This portrayal highlights the powerful themes of oppression which forces a forbidden love and the consequences of the lack of support for mental health.

This production is in partnership with the WSHS Counseling Department, PWC NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), and PWC Community Counseling Services.

Hello all WSHS Theatre Students, I hope your summer has been wonderful. There is an exciting opportunity for all Theatre students at Woodbridge. PWCS is hosting its annual leadership conference on August 3rd. This conference is for all admin and leadership in the county school system to meet and kick off the school year. WSHS has been asked to perform a musical theatre song at the conference on AUGUST 3rd. This is a great opportunity for our department to show our talents to the district!!!

We will be performing the song "You Will Be Found" from the musical Dear Evan Hansen. (Solo Opportunities Available)

Dates

Initial rehearsal for the performance will be this coming Thursday, July 27th from 12:30 at the school until 2:30. (we will have a tentative rehearsal on August 1st as well if some people can not make it or wish to be added to the piece)

A "dress rehearsal" on August 2nd at Patriot HS from 11 am to noon

The performance on August 3rd at Patriot HS (call time TBD)

Congratulations to our very own Audrey Evans on her win at the Cappies this year! Audrey won best supporting actor in a Male Role for her performance as Blackstache in Peter and the Star Catcher. Audrey graduated this year, we wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavors! ❤️ -WSHS Theatre Family

Make sure to come to see the Spring Theatre Festival Tonight and Tomorrow at 7 PM in the studio theater.

Theatre three and four have been working hard to present Almost, Maine. The story follows the people living in a remote town that is not quite Maine. The show features varying stories about love and the different forms that it may take. Our characters travel through highs and lows and some around the entire world.

Adult Tickets are 10 dollars and Student Tickets are 5 dollars.

All proceeds will go to support members of our thespian team as they travel to nationals this summer.
