We have 2 spots open for ages 3 years and above for our PreK program.

We have received Maryland Credentials as well as Maryland EXCELS Quality Rating Level 3 recently. We offer age appropriate lesson plans and follow creative curriculum. We are also a proud recipient of MSDE’s PreK expansion Grant visa Aspire PreK program.

Your child will be eligible if 3 years old by Sep 1st, 2024, and if you meet any of following criteria:
1) Income (please see the form for more details) (please fill out income part and provide tax return)
2) Is a language other than English spoken at home?(if yes, plz fill out the home language form)
3) if student is receiving IEP or IFSP (Please provide the copy of IEP or IFSP). Your child can get IEP if he/she is receiving any therapy or has special education needs.

If your child is eligible for the spot, you will pay reduced tuition rates for 36 weeks and will pay full tuition rates for 16 weeks of the year. We will have a new agreement in place for the school year.

If your child is not eligible for PreK program tuition reduction, you can still participate in this program and your child will receive same benefits of being the part of PreK program.

Job Hours: 8 am to 5 pm with 1 hour lunch break (Total 40 hours per week) for full time assistant teacher position and 8 am to 12 pm (Total 20 hours per week) for part time Teacher’s Aide position

Job Description and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:
* Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all MSDE-OCC regulations, FFCC standards, policies and procedures.
* Should be able to work from full time 8 am to 5 pm with one hour lunch break.
* Assists in creating and implementing lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating in accordance with weekly themes and FFCC curriculum.
* Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive reinforcement.
* Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained.
* Assists in completing all classroom paperwork, daily reports, accident reports, attendance & health records.

Job Requirements
Education/Experience/Skills:
Experience in child care industry preferred but not required. Certification in CPR & First Aid and SIDS and infant breastfeeding required if selected for this position. Ability and flexibility in working with various age groups. Ability to complete required certification, fingerprinting and background check and MSDE orientation.
