What a night! On Sunday, June 9th, 2024 at the Gibson Garage in Nashville the Les Paul Foundation presented the legendary Peter Frampton with the 2024 Les Paul Spirit Award in partnership with Gibson Gives. Past recipients included The Grateful Dead's Bob Weir, producer Nile Rodgers and U2's the Edge. Michael Braunstein, Executive Director of Les Paul Foundation and third generation Les Paul manager is seen here with the one-of-a-kind award and Peter Frampton. The award is made from a piece of wood from Les Paul's home studio acoustic wall that he and his son Rusty carved themselves for that perfect sound. It is a piece of music memorabilia like none other. In his acceptance Peter spoke of his admiration for Les Paul and his friendship and later performed for a standing-room only crowd.
