4th of July 2026 Parade Notice & Information
Hello Music Department Students and families,

The following information is intended to help students plan for the 4th of July Parade in Wolfeboro on Saturday, July 4th 2026. For the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, I thought it would be important to mark the occasion with a full marching band, filled with as many current and former KRHS marching band students as possible. Whether you marched with us in the 1970’s or 2020’s, we want to hear from you!
Band members can meet us at the Kingswood Arts Center at 8:00 am for a bus ride to the beginning of the parade route. The bus will pick us up at the end of the parade route and bring us back to the KAC. If you would like to meet us at the beginning of the parade route at Old Lakeview Terrace in Wolfeboro, you can do that as well. Be advised the traffic in that neighborhood is busy that morning.
The Parade steps off at 10:00 am, usually lasts 2 hours, and would end with us marching to the bus that would meet us at Academy way in Wolfeboro. The band will be performing “Patriotic Parade Sequence”, something KRHS Marching Bands have performed at Memorial Day Parades for years and may be familiar to many of you. Alumni can get music by reaching out to me at [email protected].
Those who can make it can reach out to me via email or Facebook Messenger. Thank you, let’s make this a parade to remember!
