Last night’s Family Literacy Night, part of our Strengthening Families series, brought Center families together for a fun and meaningful evening of connection. After enjoying pizza, salad, and a sweet treat, the book of the evening was Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney. Inspired by the book, the children personalized and decorated their own pillowcases. While the young artists got to work, parents participated in a Positive Solutions for Families activity, discussing and creating a night time routine that could work in their homes. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a special night!

Today marked our fourth annual Professional Development Day! It’s a valuable and productive day for our staff to engage in professional learning and review important emergency procedures and evacuation protocols. A big thank you to the board for a delicious lunch and dessert, and sincere thanks to our families for supporting the importance of this in-service day.

The and had an amazing time visiting Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Department today for Fire Prevention Week! They got to meet real firefighters, explore the fire trucks, and learn all about fire safety in a fun and hands-on way. A big THANK YOU to our community heroes for keeping us safe and teaching us so much.

We had a very special visitor today in honor of Fire Prevention Week! The children loved exploring this older engine from Sanbornville with all its history.

Put out the smoke! The were given water droplets and a bowl of water. They used the droppers to sq**rt water onto the “shaving cream fire,” working to put out the flames and clear the smoke. This fun, hands-on activity is great for developing fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and imaginative play during Fire Prevention Week this week.
