On this 80th anniversary of D-Day, the Prospect Mountain Teachers’ Association wants to thank retiring social studies educator, Mike Folan, and his students who presented their primary source research regarding NH soldiers who died in Normandy at The Wright Museum in Wolfeboro this evening.

Kudos for a job well done.

Thank you, Mr. Folan, for 42 years of sharing your knowledge so that the next generation will carry the past with them.

Congratulations to our scholarship winner, Kaylee Riel! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Kaylee was selected because of her exemplary character, her desire to help others, and her tremendous community service. A small part of this service includes playing on Unified sports teams and volunteering at a local nursing home.

Her future plans include becoming a social worker so that she can assist children in need.

The PMTA is happy to support her dream.

Congratulations to Prospect Mountain senior AP Art student, Marin Creteau, for her selection as the overall winner of the NH Art Month competition sponsored by the NH Art Educators Association!

Today she threw out the first pitch at the Fisher Cats’ game. Her prize included a box of art supplies and a $250 gift certificate to Blick.

We’d also like to congratulate the other Prospect National Art Honor students whose work was featured on the Jumbotron before the game!

Lastly, we’d like to extend kudos to art teacher, Troy Corriveau, who serves as the advisor to the local art honor society chapter and who also serves on the state board of the NH Art Educators Association and chairs the NH Art Month committee. Well done!

Despite the Nor'easter yesterday, it's that time of year again--baseball season!

The PMTA is auctioning off four tickets for the Red Sox vs. Orioles on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 1:35 pm at Fenway park. Tickets are in section F35- Row F--Seats 1-4 as pictured in blue on the map.

Bidding starts at $350 (tickets are valued at $142 each). We'll be closing the auction on Friday, March 25 at 3pm.
