🦅 A Message from the Principal 🦅

What an AMAZING first week at Woden High School! 🦅🖤💛

After this week, one word comes to mind: grateful.

I am grateful for our teachers and staff who showed up each day ready to love, encourage, challenge, and support our students. I am grateful for our students and the energy they brought back into our hallways. And I am grateful for our parents and community who continue to support Woden High School.

There were a lot of smiles, laughter, learning, conversations, and memories made this week—and this is only the beginning.

I have said from the start that we are going to build something special together. After this first week, I am even more excited about what is ahead.

We will continue to set high expectations, take ownership, build nurturing relationships, create opportunities without limits, and show respect for ourselves, others, and our community.

That is The HONOR Standard.

I couldn’t be prouder to be a Woden Eagle.

A HUGE thank you to the Baking Baristas of Woden High School for the sweetest first-day surprise!☕️🤎

The delicious homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee were the PERFECT mid-morning pick-me-up on our first day back! 😍🙌 I think it’s safe to say the entire high school was loving it!

We are so thankful for the thoughtfulness (and the sugar + caffeine 😂) that helped get us through Day 1!

Thank you, Baking Baristas! You made our first day a little sweeter! 🖤💛🦅

FISH CAMP 2026 | WELCOME, CLASS OF 2030!

Today was all about welcoming our newest Eagles to Woden High School! 🦅

Our Freshman Fish Camp was a great morning filled with new faces, helpful information, leadership, and plenty of Eagle spirit!

🍳 Mrs. Dean’s FCCLA students helped kick off the morning by serving breakfast.
📣 Our WHS Cheerleaders helped host and welcome our freshmen.
🏫 Students toured the school and learned their way around campus with help from our awesome upperclassmen who stepped up to lead the way.
🌾 Our FFA officers shared some uplifting words about leadership, getting involved, and all the opportunities FFA has to offer.
⭐ Our clubs and organizations introduced themselves and gave students a look at the MANY ways they can get involved and find their place at WHS.

And, of course, none of it would be possible without the BEST faculty and staff who work hard to make Woden High School a place where our students can learn, grow, lead, and belong.

We are excited for what this school year has in store!
