My Montessori is a dynamic international community, which reflects the diverse culture and rich educational resources of the region. We are dedicated to educating children 2.9 to 6 years old. We believe in nurturing a child’s emotional, practical and academic skills as well as sense of community.My Montessori is accredited by Massachusetts department of Early Education and care.
We seek a positive, flexible and creative person that is a team player and has a passion for working with children. Candidates must be excellent communicators with a command of the English language. A strong respect for and love of children is essential to function effectively in this child-centered environment.
Applicant must hold:
1. Montessori certification.
2. Early Childhood certification.
3. Minimum experience of 1 year in Montessori environment with AMS/AMI certification.
4. First aid and CPR certification will be required.
5. Ability to pass background check.
6. Must meet state educational and licensing requirements for director.
Your experience should demonstrate that you have the following skills: Classroom Management, Verbal Communication,Resolving Conflict,Presentation Skills, SelfMotivated, Motivating Others, Listening, Collaborative Teaching, Deals with Uncertainty, Objectivity, and Confidentiality.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Ability to lead staff while implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
2. Assumes the responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the school.
3. Must work in any additional capacity as needed in both short and long term situations.
4. Ability to create and maintain relationships with families and staff.
