Why Starting Multilingual Learning Before Age 6 Matters — And Why We Do It in Parallel at Our Daycare?

I get this question a lot from parents: “Isn’t it confusing for kids to learn more than one language at once? Shouldn’t we wait until they’ve mastered English first?”

The short answer? No — and in fact, the opposite is true. The early years (especially before age 6) are the golden window for language learning. And research shows that parallel multilingual exposure — not sequential — gives children the strongest foundation for lifelong communication, cognitive skills, and cultural connection.
Why Before Age 6?

This isn’t just a hunch — it’s backed by neuroscience. The brain’s plasticity is at its peak in early childhood. During these years, children’s brains are wired to absorb language naturally, almost effortlessly, through immersion and interaction.

🍓 Your child suddenly stopped eating a food they used to love?

Don’t worry — there’s actually a name for this. It’s called a food jag. 🍽️

It’s a common phase many children go through, and knowing what it is can make mealtimes feel a little less confusing. 💛

🐾 If animals could talk… who would have the MOST to say? 🐶🐱🦜

We asked our GCS kids this fun question — and their answers did not disappoint! 😄💭

Questions like these encourage children to use their imagination, express their ideas, and think creatively — all while having fun. ✨

Now it’s your turn: Which animal do YOU think would talk the most? 👇🐾

Our little explorers discover the wonders of the world with all their senses. First of all, they get to know the world with their own eyes. The exploration of the world also occurs through tactile sensation, movement interaction with objects, smells and sounds. All of this helps create a 3d image of a surrounding world. With this multi-sensory approach children get a much deeper understanding and gain deeper knowledge.

How do kids remember what they learn? Sometimes the best thing they can do is get outside, move, play, and have fun!

Outdoor play gives children’s brains a real break while movement and fresh air help them process and absorb everything they’ve been learning.

At our school, outdoor time is a favorite part of the day—and on warm days, nothing beats running through the water jets, splashing, laughing, and getting completely soaked!

We believe in a simple motto: “Sun, air, and water are our best friends.” Regular outdoor play helps children build resilience, stay active, and develop healthy habits from an early age.

And just as importantly, these are the moments they remember—the freedom to play, explore, laugh with friends, and simply be kids.

Because childhood should be full of learning, but it should also be full of joy.

Math is the queen of all sciences. It's the foundation for future tech, innovation and engineering breakthroughs. At our daycare we start building kids first math skills, understanding 1 VS many counting, grasping quantities developing spatial awareness, and learning directions like left slash right.

Why do toddlers seem to LOVE beige food? 🤍🍞🥔

There’s actually a simple reason: it’s predictable.

Beige foods like bread, crackers, pasta, rice, or potatoes usually look, smell, and taste the same every time. For toddlers, that consistency feels safe and familiar — especially when they’re still learning to accept new flavors and textures.

So when your little one keeps reaching for the same “boring” foods, they may simply be choosing what they know. 💛

Keep offering new foods alongside familiar favorites — without pressure. Little by little, curiosity can grow. 🌱✨

Playing music develops the brain—and neuroscience shows that learning an instrument can be especially powerful for a child’s development.

That’s why music at our school is very hands-on. Children play guitar, metallophone, piano, and lots of percussion instruments.

We also focus heavily on rhythm because it supports not only musical development, but speech and language skills as well.

And we make music together. Children learn to listen to themselves, follow a rhythm, and—most importantly—listen to each other.

Our experienced teachers help bring out each child’s individual abilities. Whether or not they ever become musicians, these experiences build skills that go far beyond music.
