It's almost time for Teacher Appreciation Week. We would love your help to shower our teachers with appreciation.

No experience needed. Roles are flexible, co-chairable, and genuinely rewarding. Just bring your passion for the Linscott, and the rest will fall into place.

𝐍𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭. 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭. Much like our students, volunteers move on to middle school, too. Help ensure the fun continues!

Positions include:
💙 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭: Lead meetings, coordinate PTO activities, and maintain a strong partnership between the PTO and school administration.
💛 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲: Take minutes at meetings, distribute them to officers, and maintain attendance records.
💙 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫: Manage all PTO funds, provide financial reports at meetings, and file required tax forms.
💛 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫: Oversee all fundraising activities and product sales to support the PTO’s efforts.
💙 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫: Maintain the PTO website, Facebook, and Instagram with current information and updates.
💛 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫: Plan and book educational programs and field trips that support the curriculum for all grade levels.

Today, students enjoyed a visit with author and entrepreneur .nubi, creator of . As the first woman to solo-drive 10,000+km from 🚗 London → Lagos 🚗, Pelumi uses her book/talk to teach children that every great adventure begins with one brave first step.

New this year: Join us for a special evening visit on Wednesday, February 4th, from 5:30-7:30pm in the school library. Come for the books, stay for the community — join our PTO meeting at 7pm!

Woburn is joining schools worldwide for Global School Play Day! Students can bring games from home (no electronics) for safe, unstructured play throughout the day. Regular recesses, lunches, and specialist classes will continue as usual.

Reminder: This is an Early Release Day - dismissal at 12:30pm.
