Sidewinder JR High sports 2026-27 begins Monday 8/10 with try outs for both baseball and volleyball.
(If you're interested in archery too. Your safety class will be postponed ONLY for those trying out to the following Monday /17, to accommodate tryouts).
Yes, physicals are of high importance. We have to start practice Monday! Our first game for both sports, is Weds 8/19.

Parents of athletes in jr high sports that will be riding the late bus at 415pm. It will be tremendously helpful if you'd remind the athletes where their bus route address is, to get dropped off. The athletes usually do not know their bus stop drop off address. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Volleyball practice is scheduled to start soon after the school year begins. The teams we will be competing against are listed below. Note that the dates are subject to change and will be determined shortly. Start on getting sports physicals. Sport fees are due once athletes makes the team.

In regards to "the season information," this is when the season starts across all schools. WE begin practice soon after school starts. OUR first game is TBD.
The teams listed are scheduled to play vs Sidewinders, but again all the game dates are TBD.
Time to get those bats swinging, and dust off those gloves.

Season-ending celebration. Our final game concluded with a tough loss by a margin of 69 points. Development was the overarching theme of the season.

Unfortunately, we fell short of securing a road win. Defending the paint and rebounding remain our primary challenges. Our shooting has been decent. As the saying goes: live by threes and die by threes. We're getting closer, and it's on the horizon. Keep pushing forward, Sidewinders!

Tomorrow's game is our first off the season. Parents and guardians, this is not a drop off event. Unaccompanied students will be turned around to call home and wait in the office or parent pick up for transportation.
