Congratulations Dr. Feeser.

Today, we celebrate our next faculty award, the Professor of the Year Award from the Student Government Association. This year's recipient is Professor of Psychology Kristina Feeser from the Department of Social Sciences.

Each year, the Student Government Association honors a professor who students feel have made great contributions in the classroom during the academic year. The award is voted on by the student body during the SGA's spring elections. On behalf of the students at UVA Wise, thank you for all of your work that you do in the classroom. Your dedication to student learning and caring personality has left a lasting impact on each of your students.

Congratulations to graduate Hannah Phelps who will be attending East Tennessee State University in the fall to pursue a masters degree in Mental Health Counseling! Hannah says, “Thanks to the psychology department at UVA Wise i found my true calling. The relationships I have built in my time in undergrad will last a lifetime. The faculty in the psychology department have been instrumental in my preparation for not only graduate school but the professional world as well!”
