Another good reminder about the effects of screen time on kids, and how to manage the effects. 💻

Ever noticed how your child can be perfectly happy on a screen, then suddenly everything becomes a problem when it's time to stop?
The smallest request turns into an argument. Nothing seems fun anymore. They're bored, frustrated or upset, and all they want is to get back on their screen.
For some children, moving from the excitement of games and videos to ordinary activities can be genuinely difficult.
But here's something important: A child struggling after screen time isn't necessarily being naughty or deliberately difficult.
They may need help managing frustration, switching activities or settling back into their usual routine.
And not all screen time is the same. What children watch, how they interact with it and what else is happening in their lives all matter.
💜 It's not about making parents feel guilty for allowing screens. It's about understanding what children may find difficult and helping them develop a healthy balance.
Sometimes a little preparation, a predictable routine and a calm connection afterwards can make a real difference.
